If you’re a lover of thick and creamy pies that are bursting in flavour, you’re going to want to check out this recipe below that combines banana, peanut butter and cream into one delicious package. Enjoy!

Ingredients: 22 peanut butter sandwich cookies, a half cup of dry-roasted peanuts, a quarter cup of melted butter, a half cup of granulated sugar, a quarter cup of corn starch, 2 cups of half-and-half cream, 4 large egg yolks, sliced bananas, heavy whipping cream, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Directions: Preheat oven to 350 °F. While waiting, grind the cookies and peanuts into a fine, crumb-like mixture using a food processor. Add the melted butter, and press this mixture into the bottom of a pie plate. As you bake it at 350 °F for 12 minutes, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch, and half-and-half cream. Add in the egg yolks, and whisk thoroughly. Take this mixture and bring it to a boil over medium heat with constant stirring until it has a pudding texture. Cover this mixture and chill it until it is cool to the touch. Take the pie crust and line it with sliced bananas. Once the mixture is at room temperature, spoon the pudding onto the bananas and spread into a smooth layer. Whisk thoroughly the heavy whipping cream for topping while adding the extract. Add a layer of whipped cream on the top, and serve!
