This “Super Meat” Is Better Than Regular Meat, And It’s Not Even Real Meat!

I am a self-admitted carnivore. No matter how healthy vegetables and fruits are for me, I will always go for the meat option each and every time. There’s just something so incredibly satisfying about having a nice lean source of tasty protein as part of a wholesome meal. Plus it’s good for building muscle and keeping hunger at bay, so why wouldn’t I want to go for it?

Many vegetarians who want to eat lots of proteins but want to avoid meat tend to go the route of tofu, and other meat replacement products that don’t quite do it, either in the low protein content or the taste just isn’t right.

Well, meet Beyond Meat. Their founder and CEO Ethan Brown aims to create meatless products that taste AND feel just like the real thing itself. What they do is take the amino acids and proteins straight out of plants, and then take them through a factory process that generates food that has the same texture, feel, AND taste as meat.

What’s even better is the claim that this new meat replacement. Brown claims that their new ‘fake meat’ has “more protein than beef, more iron than steak, more omega-3’s than salmon, more calcium than milk, and more antioxidants than blueberries”. WOW!
