YUM: Try These Chicken N’ Cheese Stuffed Peppers!

Stuffed peppers have been a very huge tradition in Eastern countries, ranging from Russia all the way to Spain and India. Each culture has their own choice of what they fill them with, but all of them are delicious in their own way. Hey, you can even combine cultures to make your own amazing filling for this recipe! Here’s an example of how combining things can end up in a delicious dish! Enjoy!

Ingredients: 4 large hailed & seeded red peppers, 2 cups of pre prepared couscous, 1.5 cups of cooked and shredded chicken tenders, half a cup of salsa, a teaspoon of onion powder, 2 teaspoons of taco seasoning, a cup of shredded cheese, 1 teaspoon of hot sauce, and half a cup of sour cream.

Directions: While preheating the oven to 350 °F. Add the cooked couscous, chicken, and salsa into a bowl and mix well. Stir in the onion powder, taco seasoning, shredded cheese, hot sauce, and sour cream, mixing thoroughly. Fill each halved pepper completely with the mixture, sprinkling cheese on top. Bake the peppers in the oven for 20 minutes, and garnish with any topping of your choice.
