YUM: Try This Crock-Pot Upside-Down Pineapple Cake!

 

 

Ingredients: 1 box of yellow cake mix, pineapple juice, eggs, vegetable oil, a quarter cup of butter, a quarter cup of brown sugar, pineapple rings, and maraschino cherries

DirectionsWith cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and pineapple juice as a substitute for water, make the cake batter according to the box’s instructions in a mixing bowl. Combine butter and brown sugar in the Crock-Pot on high heat until they melt. Add the pineapple rings along the bottom of Crock-Pot in a single layer. In the centre of each ring, place a single maraschino cherry. Pour the cake batter into the Crock-Pot, and cook for 2-2.5 hours. Let it cool for 15 minutes, flip the Crock-Pot over onto a large plate, and serve!
